"The owner, Will, is VERY knowledgeable about instruments! He repaired one of my valve trombones and it works great and it was done sooner than expected and for a reasonable price. He also sells used instruments! Here is a HUGE HINT to parents who's kids want to be in band - BUY A USED INSTRUMENT FROM WILL RATHER THAN RENTING ONE FROM THE RENTAL COMPANY - you will save money in the long run. If for some reason your child drops out of band in a year or two, you can sell the instrument and come out owing very little. Band was the best part of my school days and it can be your child's too! I started in the 5th grade and I am still playing my valve trombones and I am now in my 70's! Ted Betz"

"Trustworthy and friendly We were looking to buy our first brass instrument. Keifer's had one but for a beginner, it was a little out of our price range. We found one elsewhere but, Keifer's didn't bat an eyelash at looking it over (free) to make sure it was good. They did some minor work on it (less than $100) and even sold us a case at a big discount. They took the time to explain how to care for and clean it (again free). We are using Keifer's for all of our instrument needs from now on (they have all kinds of instruments)"
